Although big city bustle seems worlds away, civilization actually is conveniently just a few minutes away.

Both of our vacation cabin rentals properties have a fully equipped kitchen, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. Bed linens, bath towels, paper products and soaps are provided. Both mountain getaway cabins have satellite television with DVD/VCR players, central heat and A/C, ceiling fans, a stone fireplace in the living room with gas logs, and plenty of board games to bring the family together.

The Lodge at Mountaintown in Gilmer County, Georgia is only 7 minutes from all the convenience and charm of downtown Ellijay, GA. If trout fishing interests you, this recently renovated 2 BR/1BA riverfront cabin nestles right up to a noisy, crystal clear mountain fed stream. The Lodge sleeps four comfortably, has all new appliances and fixtures and because it's in a valley directly on the river, it stays naturally cool.

Nearby family friendly activities are hiking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, biking, mountain festivals, fairs, drive-in theaters, and two area lakes. Cherokee reservation gambling is only a 2 hour drive away.
